Arthur Lewis "Luke" Cason, 69, husband of Donna Kay Cason of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

Mr. Cason was born in Staunton, Virginia on July 16, 1951, a son of the late Arthur Ray and Eleanor (Oxford) Cason.

Luke was a member of the Aero Drive Church of God. He loved meeting new people and had a great sense of humor. Luke loved his family and always put others before himself.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Evelyn (Ward) Rankin; a brother-in-law, Kenny Rankin; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Rankin.

Surviving in addition to his wife of six years, is a brother, Robert "Bob" Cason and his wife, Shirley; nephew and nieces, Misti Pugliese and her husband, Tony, Arthur Cason and his wife, Jacqueline, Eleanor Pugliese and her husband, Gino, Angie Earhart, Chastity Shrewsberry and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; a brother-in-law, Frankie Rankin and his wife, Darlene; a sister-in-law, Ann Snead and her husband, Joe and special friends, Warren and Ann Cox.

Due to COVID-19, services will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
