Archie W. Woodson's Obituary
Archie W. Woodson, 75, husband of Judith (Sipe) Woodson of 561 Union Church Road passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Woodson was born on May 25, 1940 in Crozet, a son of the late Zeke and Carrie (Gibson) Woodson.
Archie attended Calvary Baptist Church and was retired with Blue Ridge Lumber Company. He enjoyed gardening, wood working, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Woodson was preceded in death by an infant son, Jason Woodson; two brothers, Russell and Purcell Woodson and two sisters, Mildred Harris and Mary Shifflett.
Surviving in addition to his wife of forty years, is a son, Adrian D. Woodson and wife Angela of Verona; a daughter, Jessica R. Woodson of Churchville; a brother, Donald Woodson of Crozet; two sisters, Shirley Morris and Katherine Moore both of Crozet; a grandson, Connor; two sisters-in-law, Linda Eutsler and Angeline Rexrode and husband Robert all of Churchville and a special family member, Glenna Puffenbarger and her husband Wayne.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Shutterlee Mill Community Cemetery by Pastor Bobby Campbell.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne and Gary Puffenbarger, Anthony Cox, James Myers, and Robert Rexrode.
It is suggested that memorial contribution may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
