April Nicole Campbell, 46, of Moneta, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

April loved the Atlanta Braves, Virginia Tech, hunting and the family farm. She was a long time member of the Lions Club. April was employed by the Vision Center in Madison Heights, Staunton, and lastly in Roanoke, Virginia.

April is survived by her father, Linwood Campbell of Arrington; her mother, Linda Campbell Blackwell of Lovingston; two precious sons who she loved dearly, Walker T. Heatherly and Shelby "Eli" Heatherly of Moneta; a brother, Jon Andrew Campbell of Charlottesville; step-siblings, Kristin Abbott of Lynchburg, David Blackwell of Lovesville and Susan Blackwell of Arrington; godparents, LD Campbell of Amherst and Dorothy Hoenes of Arrington; maternal grandmother, Jean Bradley of Lynchburg and numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
