Anthony W. Stinnett's Obituary
Anthony Wayne Hatchett Stinnett, 47, husband of Sherry T. Stinnett of 61 Creek Road, Lyndhurst, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 22, 1964 in Waynesboro, a son of Edith (Fitzgerald) Stinnett and the late Richard Lee Stinnett.
Mr. Stinnett attended Harvest City Church and Cornerstone Church and was previously employed as a painting contractor with Meadows Painting. He enjoyed playing the guitar, the banjo and artistic painting.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Lyndhurst and his wife, is a son, Nathaniel O. Stinnett of Craigsville; two step-sons, Alex Showers of Afton and Allan Taylor of Lyndhurst; three step-daughters, Brittany Patterson of Staunton, Amber Showers of Wise County, VA and Jasmine Showers of Afton; two sisters, Carolyn F. Snell of Waynesboro and Debbie K. Hevener of Stuarts Draft; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; a special friend, Eddie Cox of Sherando also survive.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 in the family cemetery in Tye River.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Edith Stinnett, 61 Creek Road, Lyndhurst at anytime.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
