Anthony Keith Shane Manley, 58, husband of Joyce (Smiley) Manley of 188 Old Back Road, Raphine passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Manley was born on March 23, 1955 in Charlottesville, a son of the late C.W. Manley and Glenda (Graves) Brettschneider.
Mr. Manley was the owner/operator of Thunder Eagle Cycle Works where he enjoyed building, designing and doing mechanic work on all motorcycles. Shane also enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends as well.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin G. Manley.
Surviving in addition to his mother of PA and his wife are five sons, Frederick J. Heath, Jr. and wife Carla of Verona, Edward Owen Heath and wife Tammy of TN, Shannon L. Heath of Raphine, Rodney Woods of Harrisonburg and Kim Allen Francis of Staunton; two brothers, Timothy Brooks of Lynchburg and Kendell Brooks of Correy, NC; two sisters, Debbie Manley of PA and Kim Gartside of MD; six grandchildren, Brandon Heath, Amanda Heath, Christa Heath, Raven Puhr, Brittany Heath and Steven Mahon; four great-grandchildren; special caregiver Jessica Heath; and his special pet dog Baby Girl also survive.
A Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor John Ward.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 2, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, and other times at his residence.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
