Annie Ozella (Bradley) Johnson, 87, widow of John Henry Jack Johnson of 15 East Peabody Street gained her angel wings on Sunday, December 27, 2015 surrounded by her family at her residence.

Mrs. Johnson was born on May 23, 1928 in Raphine, a daughter of the late Eugene Aldman and Rena Bell (Anderson) Bradley.

Annie retired from Ingleside Resort where she was employed as a housekeeper. She loved her family and enjoyed her special times vacationing with them. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, working with flowers and watching hummingbirds. Annie will be missed by her loved ones, many friends and neighbors.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Sue Chaplin.

Surviving are four daughters, Anna Bell Miller and her husband Leon of Mt. Solon, Janet Smith and her husband William, Jr. of Staunton, Dorothy Durham and her husband Gary of Raphine and Lisa Noble and her husband William of Staunton; a step-daughter, Mary Elizabeth Simmons and her husband Garry of Stuarts Draft; two sisters, Betty Harris of Greenville and Hester Brooks of Steeles Tavern; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at her residence.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Denny Sites.

The family will receive friends following the service at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
