Obituary

Anna Lee (Neff) Elliott, 73, widow of John Howard Elliott, of 656 King Avenue, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Elliott was born on May 2, 1943 in Staunton, Virginia, a daughter of the late Boyd and Edith (Helmick) Neff.
Anna was retired from American Safety Razor as a production machine operator, and she enjoyed reading and watching television. Family was the most important part of her life, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Neff and a sister, Ruby Virginia Knapp.
Surviving is a son, Jay Elliott and his wife Roxann of Weyers Cave; two daughters, Donna Gayle Hawkins and fianc Thomas Morris III of Waynesboro, and Anita Lockridge and her husband Ricky of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Jim Neff and his wife Bev of Staunton; six grandchildren, Justin Hawkins and fiance Kristen Hinerman, Mandy Hawkins and fianc Michael Portch, Josh Lockridge and his wife Jennifer, Derek Lockridge, Cody Elliott, and Brandie Elliott; four great-grandchildren, Emmalyn Lockridge, Harper Lockridge, Carter Blair Hawkins, Kamden Scott Portch also survive.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence of Anita Lockridge, 1152 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Chuck Balsamo.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Knapp, Jeramie Knapp, Randy Hawkins, Justin Tanner, Michael Portch and Eddie Morris.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
