Anna (Detweiler) Miller, 91, widow of Adam A. Miller of 103 Oak Dale Lane went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at her residence.
Anna was born September 22, 1918 in Dodge City, KS, a daughter of the late Joe B. and Lydia (Yoder) Detweiler.
In addition to her parents and her husband of fifty years, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Miller was a faithful member of the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church, a loving housewife, Mother and grandmother; she enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include five daughters, Irene Zook and her husband Crist of Greenwood, DE, Malinda Bontrager and her husband Melvin of Berne, IN,
Lydia Yoder and her husband Harley, Lena Swarey and her husband Ivan both of Stuarts Draft and Martha Bender and her husband Floyd of Cumberland, MD; seven sons, John Miller and his wife Denise of Lewisville, TX, Willie Miller and his wife Sylvia of Orange, VA, Rudy Miller and his wife Gloria of Norristown PA, Neil Miller and his wife Annie of Waxahachie, TX, Roman Miller and his wife Kaye of Shaw Island, WA, Joe Miller and his wife Ruth of Seymour, MO and David Miller and his wife Betty of McGaheysville, VA; a brother, Rudy Detweiler of Middlefield, OH and a sister, Barbara Byler of Dover, DE; fifty-four grandchildren, ninety-seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Sunday, February 14, 2010 in Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church in Stuarts Draft by Mr. Bennie W. Byler and her Grandson, Mr. Tim D. Miller.
Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening, February 13, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
