(Hamilton) Bosserman
March 18, 1932 – October 5, 2022
Anna Lee (Hamilton) Bosserman, 90, widow of Lester Boyd "Bunk" Bosserman of 1300 Jerusalem Chapel Road, Churchville, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Bosserman was born in Swoope, Virginia on March 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Mary Jane (Hoover) Tisdale.
Anna was a member of Jerusalem Chapel United Brethren Church. She loved cats, her family and enjoyed reading her bible.
In addition to her mother and husband, Mrs. Bosserman was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Coon and Stanley Coon, and a sister, Cleta Mae Hamilton.
Surviving, are two sons, Ronald Lee "Jim" Coon and his wife Shelly of Charleston, WV, and Rodger D. Coon and his wife Denise of Churchville; a daughter, Linda S. Bartley of Staunton; two step-sons, Bradford Bosserman and his wife Stephanie Marie of Crozet, and Jerry Bosserman and his wife Barbara of Berryville; a step-daughter, Linda Hahn of Stuarts Draft; fifteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Jerusalem Chapel United Brethren Church by Pastor Mark Tinsley and Pastor George Etling.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Andrew Bartley, Timothy Bartley, Ryan Coon, Chandler Roberts, Jimmy Robertson and Keith Ramsey.
It is suggested, that those desiring make memorial contributions to Cat's Cradle, P.O. Box 2128, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
The family would like to express a sincere "Thank you" to the staff at Legacy Hospice and Crystal Robertson for the care shown to Mrs. Bosserman.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
