Mrs. Cash was born on July 23, 1932 in Washington, D.C., a daughter of the late Elmer and Helen (Thompson) McCauley.
Mrs. Cash was a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church and a member the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a loving mother and homemaker for her family. Anna May enjoyed shopping and attending sporting events, with her husband, at Lee High School and Buffalo Gap High School.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cash was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Wade.
Survivors include a son, Lewis C. Louie Cash, Jr. and his wife Luellan W. of Swoope; three daughters, Cathy A. Hahn and her husband Tony of Stuarts Draft, Chrissy L. King and her husband Thomas of Salem and Ruth A. Fitzgerald and her husband Shawn of Aurora, OH; a sister, Ellie Larson of FL; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; and her loyal dog / companion Trixie also survive.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Mark W. Jones and Pastor Temple D. Myers.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be private in Thornrose Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Joy Sunday School Class.
