Anna Christine (Brookman) Bryant, 75, wife of Whitfield Lee Bryant, Jr., formerly of North Delphine Ave., passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, in Avante of Waynesboro.
Mrs. Bryant was born July 18, 1937 in Louisa County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lillie Mae (Lamb) Lloyd.
Anna attended Central Baptist Church,Waynesboro, she was a homemaker and child care provider; she loved her family; she enjoyed word search puzzles, listening to country and blue grass music, and cross stitching.
In addition to her foster parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her biological parents; Harry and Mabel (Lloyd) Brookman; a brother, Otis Claude Lloyd and a sister, Ramona (Lloyd) Painter.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, survivors include two sons; Wendell R. Bryant and wife Jacqueline of Staunton, and Barry W. Bryant, Sr. and wife Lisa of Stuarts Draft; and a daughter, Wanda K. Bryant of Stuarts Draft; two sisters, Sylvia Jean Poore of Richmond and Patsy Wade of Crozet; six grandchildren; Brianne N. Bryant, Tesla M. Bryant, Nicholas H. Bryant, Barry W. Bryant, Jr., Taylor Johnson, and Theron B. Johnson; one great grandchild Aubree Mae Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor John Ward.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service or other times at the homes of her children. There will be a reception following the service at the home of her daughter Wanda at 130 Forest Drive, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
