Ann Grace Riddle's Obituary

Ann Grace (Lawhorne) Riddle, 76, widow of Richard Lee Riddle, Sr. of Hoover Street, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Riddle was born March 9, 1937 in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Joseph Reed and Ruth (Wilmont) Lawhorne.
Mrs. Riddle was a retired LPN from Western State Hospital with thirty-six years of service and worked part time
at Envoy of Staunton. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #680 of Staunton and the Waynesboro Women of the Moose Lodge. She loved to bowl, play golf and travel.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by a brother Joseph R. Lawhorne and a sister, Mary Combs.
Surviving are four sons, Richard L. Riddle, Jr. and wife Chong of Korea, John E. Riddle and wife Susan of Washington, Michael W. Riddle and wife Cathy of Staunton and Scottie D. Riddle and wife Helen of Easton, MD; a daughter, Jetanna S. Eckard and fianc Rick Mathews of Staunton; a sister, Jean Biby of Staunton; twelve grandchildren, April Yoder, Richard Riddle, III, Steven Riddle, Jonathan Riddle, Stephanie Riddle, Michael Riddle, Scottie Riddle, II, Veronica Riddle, Bruce Lee Riddle, Joseph Riddle, Melanie Wade and Jennifer Wade; ten great-grandchildren, Stormy Thomas, Tiffany Wade, Blake Yoder, Jasmine Peters, Isaiah Moore, Dezaray Riddle, Brionna Riddle, Deaglan Riddle, Peyton, and Kiera Riddle, also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory or the residence at other times.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor John W. Ward.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Leukemia \u0026 Lymphoma Society, Virginia Chapter, 5540 Falmouth Street, Suite 101, Richmond, Virginia 23230.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Augusta Hope Center and the Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah.
