Anita Charlotte (Hellpape) Shuey, 91, widow of Willis Glenn Shuey, formerly of Virginia Institute Way, Swoope, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fishersville.

Mrs. Shuey was born on October 3, 1932 in Lichtenberg, Germany, a daughter of the late Rudi Willy Robert Hellpape and Charlotte Minna Helana (Redlich) Hellpape.

She retired from Tommy's Pajama Factory.

Anita is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and her special pet dog "Rascal".

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery by Pastor Jim Lundy.

There will be no public visitation.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
