Angela Moore (Beazley) Fretwell, 84, widow of Frank Carr Fretwell, Jr., formally of College Circle went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 14, 2010 in Brightview at
Baldwin Park.
Mrs. Fretwell was born September 23, 1925 in Edinburg, VA, a daughter of the late Dr. Charles H. and Nan E. Beazley.
Angela was educated in the Edinburg School System and Dunsmore Business College. She was employed with Clem and Company Real Estate for a number of years. She later became an assistant in her husbands accounting business and a home maker. Mrs. Fretwell was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church of Staunton.
On March 5, 1942, she married Frank C. Fretwell, Jr. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. They shared fifty-three years together before his death. Mrs. Fretwell was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Edward Beazley and Frank Beazley. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael C. Fretwell, Sr. and his wife Linda of Staunton; a daughter and son-in-law, Christie F. Wimer and her husband Steven R. of Staunton; four grandchildren, Michael C. Fetwell, Jr., Angela W. Bosserman and her husband Chris, Jonathan A. Fretwell and his fiance Clara C. Lam and Garrett Morris. A special great-grandson, Gage Michael Lam-Fretwell.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Fretwell, Garrett Morris, Chris Bosserman, Kevin Marshall and Mike Wimer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Cacciapaglia, Joseph Stone, John Rexrode and friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the Coffman Funeral Home \u0026 Crematory.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Christopher Knoedler.
Burial will follow the service in Thornrose Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her nurses Becky, Phyllis, Jolene, Stephanie, Patricia and all the other staff at Brightview for their special care, kindness and the loving atmosphere they made for her. Also, a special thanks to all of the staff and volunteers of Hospice. All of you made a difficult time much easier for the family.
