Angela Fay Angie (Moran) Cox, 47, wife of Dale William Cox of 88 White Oak Lane, passed away Monday evening, August 19, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Cox was born in Staunton on October 7, 1965, a daughter of the late William Thomas, Sr. and Margaret Catherine (Key) Moran.

Angie was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. She was employed as a Human Resource Officer with Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville and she liked to cook, shop and was known as an excellent housekeeper. Angies favorite pastime was taking care of Dale and Kristen and walking Daisy Maye around the park.

Surviving in addition to her husband of twenty-five years, is a daughter, Kristen Cox at home; two brothers, William Bill Moran and his wife Geneva of Wilson, NC and Doug Moran and his wife Kelley of Staunton; two brothers-in-law, C.H. Cox and his wife Nancy of Swoope and Douglas Doug Cox and his wife Pam of Staunton and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren, 1473 Middlebrook Road, Staunton by Pastor Rick Robertson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.

Active pallbearers will be Ryan Cox, Jeffrey Back, Rodney Perry, JR Coleman, Adam Miller, Adam Ellinger, Chris Harris and Daniel Cox.

It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
