Aleata Kay (Massie) Johnson, 48, of 1950 North Congress Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Friday January 8, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born on November 3, 1967 in Waynesboro, a daughter of Phillip Warren and Shirley Ann (Ganey) Massie.
Aleata was a graduate of Riverheads High School, she was a homemaker, and she enjoyed cooking, the beach and her pets.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Stuarts Draft is the father of her children, Gary Johnson of Staunton; four daughters, Tiffany R. Humphries of Harrisonburg, Dakota F. Humphries of Northern Virginia, Lynzie N. Johnson and Kyrah B. Johnson both of Staunton; four sisters, Virginia E. Burwell of Lexington, KY., Kathy A. Funk of Greenville, Wanda M. SanJule of Crozet and Donna L. Dawson of Keezleton; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
All services are private.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to a charity of ones choice.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
