Agnes Ernestine (Hussey) Stanley, 99, widow of Lloyd Andres Stanley, Sr., of Staunton, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Brookdale of Staunton.

Mrs. Stanley was born in Sangersville, Virginia on January 16, 1926, daughter of the late David Andrew Hussey and Fannie Rebecca (Arion) Hussey.

Agnes was employed with Smith's Transfer as a secretary for over 40 years. She was a member of Cherryvale United Methodist Church and T.O.P.S., and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her step-son, Lloyd Andres Stanley, Jr.; two brothers, Standley Hussey and Shirley Hussey; and two sisters, Erva Simmons and Zelda Smiley.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jonathan Greer. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
