Adam P. Dobzeniecki, Jr.
STAUNTON-
Adam Paul Dobzeniecki, Jr., 41, husband of Jodi A. Dobzeniecki of 623 Bull Run, Staunton, passed away Friday, (April 3, 2009) in the Augusta Medical Center.
Mr. Dobzeniecki was born on June 13, 1967, in Patchogue, New York, a son of the late Adam Paul Dobzeniecki, Sr. and Helen Barbara (Gurney) Dobzeniecki.
Adam was Plant Manager at Luck Stone Corporation for nineteen years. He was an avid racer at Eastside Speedway where he enjoyed racing his friends and spending much time with his father. He enjoyed camping with his family and attending his childrens sporting and school events whenever he was able. Adam attended Destiny Family Center.
In addition to his father, Adam was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Balsamo.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife both of Staunton, survivors include his son, A.J. Dobzeniecki, III and his daughter, Katie R. Dobzeniecki, both at home; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Susan Susie Dobzeniecki of Long Island, New York, Judy McVey and her husband Allen and Sherry L. Briggs and her husband Joe all of Staunton, and Kim Corella and her husband Mike of Portage Maine; six nephews, two nieces and a number of Aunts, Uncles and many many friends.
A celebration of Adams Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (April 7, 2009) at the Destiny Family Center in Stuarts Draft.
Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory or at other times his residence.
Active pallbearers will be his son, A.J., Zach Thompson, Tyler Bendler, Jim Briggs, Mike Corella, Mark Corella, Ben Holt and Teddy McVey.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of the arrangements.
