Biography
Edith Jacqueline “Jackie” Norton, 73, of 33 Smitty Drive, Verona, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at Kings Daughter’s Community Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Norton was born April 16, 1936 in Baltimore County, Maryland, a daughter of the late Frank L. and Birdell (Kesler) Norton.
Prior to retiring in 1988, Jackie worked for over twenty years for the Genicom Company. She was an avid antique collector and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Peggy (Hendrickson) Rankin, and her husband William “Lenny” Rankin, Jr., David Lewis Shifflett all of Verona; and Laura Ann Shifflett of Stuarts Draft; two grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Heather (Rankin) Killen, and her husband Michael of Harrisonburg and Katlyn Renee Fridley of Stuarts Draft.
All services are private.
