Obituary for Clifton Earl "Cliff" Hudgins

Clifton Earl “Cliff” Hudgins, 70, husband of Glenda Bell (Sorenson) Hudgins of 195 China Clay Road, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Hudgins was born on September 21, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas, a son of the late Marcus Earl and Tarsha Pauline (Jones) Hudgins.
Clifton was a member of the Linden Heights Baptist Church, the Western Writers Associations, Cliff was the Director of Missions for Pittsylvania Baptist Association, and was a Field Strategist with the Baptist General Association of Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudgins was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda F. Todd.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty years, are three sons, Darrin E. Hudgins and his wife Angela Dawn, Nathan L. Hudgins, and Daniel W. Hudgins; three grandchildren, Kayla Marie Hudgins, Emma Noel Hudgins, and Adam Emery Hudgins; a brother, Leonard A. Hudgins; and a number of nieces and
nephews.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Linden Heights Baptist Church by the Revs. Luke B. Smith and David Anderson.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Linden Heights Baptist Church, 371 Linden Drive, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
