Obituary for Ann (Jordan) Hogan

Ann (Jordan) Hogan, 72, wife of Ryland B. Hogan, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.
Mrs. Hogan was born on January 8, 1946 in Staunton, a daughter of the late George Dallas, Sr. and Ethel (Burgandine) Jordan.
Ann was a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church, she retired from Wilson Trucking as an executive secretary with 12 years of service and previously was employed by Smith’s Transfer. Mrs. Hogan enjoyed helping with the Food Pantry at Calvary United Methodist Church and she enjoyed camping and knitting.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Dallas Jordan, Jr. and Robert Jordan.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 15 years is a step-son, Marty Hogan and his wife Kathi; a step-daughter, Janet Hogan both of Madison Heights; three step-grandchildren, Amanda Hogan, Stephanie Hogan, and Austin Harris; and a cousin, Judy Cason.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the Wayne Hills Baptist Church by Rev. Brandon Pickett.
Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Danny Hall, Pete Shiflett, Wayne Smith, Austin Harris, Michael Mitchell, and Charles Baldwin.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to Wayne Hills Baptist Church, 877 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
